We are called to change our ways and follow the "Way and the Truth and the Life" (John 14:6) nothing else, nobody else.

May the blessings of Christmas inspire our witness for His glory throughout the New Year.

"What then shall we do?"

Are we prepared to welcome Christmas as an event that transcends time and space?

In today's reading, Jesus foretells what He knows about the end of time.

"What is the truth?' answers Pilate…

…expect an end that will open a new spiritual beginning.

The widow is giving to God with full faith, trust and humility.

Go to Jesus asking what's most important.

Take heart; get up, he is calling you.

Jesus, again and again, tries His best to lift up our concept about His Kingdom.

We remain free to transform the impossible into the possible.

We see the Lord Jesus "taking up the children in his arms, laying his hands on them and blessing them"

In the past, salt was used as currency. Workers were paid their salary with salt. It may be the root of the word "salary".

How do we practice the authority that we hold in our lives?

There is no Christian faith without the cross.

In our time, we still need what Jesus taught two thousand years ago!

We see many attempts to try and trap Jesus as a rebel against the Law.

John's Gospel ends the teaching on the Bread of Life with challenges which are difficult to accept.
